Hi! I just purchased and am reading with fascination "Western Maryland Fast Freights and Black Diamonds"--the 2nd Edition (1992). Can anyone suggest a good Morning Side Book or other picture book that would complement this book that I have? I already have the two DVDs called "Vignettes of the Western Maryland". But I'd still like another book to sit and study with great pictures.
I haven't got any in front of me right now, but I consider about every picture book you can find on the WM to be a great source of material.
Has anything been done by Morning Sun Books? Usually excellent photos, although their captions can at times be suspect.
I was hoping that there was ONE great book, but it looks like that there several good ones out there. so, I did go ahead and purchased 3 of the Morning Sun books from Ron's Books (<ronsbooks.com>). He has a great selection at a great prices. They should be arriving this week.
