Saturday I was with my wife at a local flea market so I had my "eagle eyes" on and they spotted a gem.....The box said MRC 6200, so I casually walk up and say "is that a train transformer :)" the nice lady said "I believe it is", I said how much do you want for it (after confirming it was a 6200), she said $5, I tried to contain myself as I gave her the $5. Took it home and it works like a charm and doesn't have a scratch on it...Easily my best "G" scale score ever!

How could you take advantage of that poor lady, lol. I woulda done the same thing, we all look for a deal like this.

This reminds me of a short but unrelated subject story. I was helping my Mom with a yard sale and not very eunthused about yard sales either. There was this plastic lobster in the yard sale this old lady was eyeing up which had a price tag of only $.25 mind you at that. She then points to it and says how much, I said the price is on it, she says but it's missing it's antenna and I say thats why it's only $.25, she says ohhhhhhh, I say hey lady how much do you wanna give me for it, she says $.10. I say ok fine, she takes her purse and pulls out another purse and then in turns pulls out a even smaller purse and the starts counting out pennies individually, 1, 2, 3 etc until we got to $.10. I say ok bye now, she then in turns asks for a bag, so I take a bag and throw the lobster in it and hand the bag to her only she doesn't take it. She wants me to walk this bag out to her car and put it in the trunk for her all for the high price of $.10

The moral of this story is don't let those old people fool you, they know how to take advantage of you with out you even realizing it.

    100% true story
