Since I can no longer edit my post, I’ll just issue a correction here and say that I meant to say it took a lot of trial and error to get the BLI to play nice with the two Scaletrains. That is all.
Dave, Good question, my top three locomotives all-DC are: 1. Kato E9 - UP ABA: These run beautifully and with the extra weight of a longer locomotive, pull my eleven Kato City of LA cars, also the multiple units quiet my anxiety about keeping my track clean. 2. Kato F7 - SP and UP ABA: These run well and pull my orange Pacific Fruit Express cars. 3. Kato FEF - UP: This is the only really reliable steam locomotive that I own and it pulls a lowly mail train still worked by steam in 1955. Tonkphilip
