I thought the AZL Bethgon Coalporters were due in March, but I have not heard any news in a while? Any news?
Here is the latest I have from AZL. The coal porter bodies and trucks are done. The series is in the painting and lettering phase. It should be completed soon. Bowser has had delays in the finishing stage. Once these delays clear, we should be receiving the cars right away. If all goes well, I will have an order form in the May/June issue of Ztrack. Rob
So these too are being made by Bowser ... are they doing all of AZL's injection moulding? (never though that the US would become the mecca of mass-produced z-scale modeling)
Bowser is doing all of AZL's injection molded rolling stock. The injection molded locomotives and passenger cars are coming from Ajin. Bowser could be one of the largest Z scale manufacturers without even offering a single Z scale product under their name! Rob
Here-Here!!!! A very good question. One that needs not only answering, but to be put into action! Need them ACF/Trinity style modern centerflow hoppers! Hobo Tim
Yes!!!! I second the third motion that AZL take notice and heed the desires of the BNSF bunch! :teeth: Hobo Tim
i just saw a whole string of these new BNSF hoppers near Dalhart, TX., while on our way from Colorado to Dallas this morning! i would almost bet the picture above is of the very hoppers in the very same place. interesting. z scale certainly needs these. dave f.
Head the BNSF bunch... come on guys, you know AZL loves you. Remember, AZL is the only Z company to actually release BNSF locomotives. Two different versions to be exact! AZL has announced that BNSF will be released in the first run or coal porters. I doubt the will be the new logo since the project was signed off on before the new loog was announced. Hmm those smooth sides sure are nice. It would be great to have these... with metal wheels... Rob
