I believe it's another unintended consequence of Corporate Downsizing. But it must get terrific fuel economy, doesn't need those big tanks.

Sorry, we kinda got off topic and I forgot to answer your question. Like I said, it's hard to find these guys in stock, but here are some places who carry/have carried them. Wig-Wag BLW And also e-bay from time to time but they run a bit higher than MSRP (like the one linked) because of the demand. I've heard Kato has used both a 3v and 12v motor in these guys. How do you tell which motor you have? Here's a picture I posted on pg2 if it helps.
