Located at Palmyra, PA (near Hershey). Fun Fact: Raymond Loewy (GG-1 stylist) designed Studebaker autos too, one as seen to the left with the bullet nosed grille.

The bullet nose looks more like a '49 Ford.

That's a lot of nice cars! I wouldn't mind checking out that motorcycle-sidecar combo... and the other bike next to it... :)

Cool picture, lots going on there.....

Those were the days when you could make a part for a car with a hammer and an anvil. Reminds me...

... of one my dad made a long time ago when he worked at a power plant. Yard art and memories now, but there if I need it.

The one on the left is a private line while on the right is a pay phone.

Fantastic photo. At that time, mechanics was very hands-on. No OBD doohickeys or newfangled kaputerized thingamabobs.:cautious:

Can any of those phones do 5G?

My anvil only weighs a pound...

From too much experience, there were few days when someone did not come in and want to use the shop/station phone. This guy is very smart, having that pay phone at hand.

Nice big dials on the pumps. :) No rolling numbers or digital stuff on those pumps!
