First I know it is far easier to just purchase them. I have been thinking about it. I just have a large supply (20 or so 8x12 sheets) of PCB sheets that I do not want to go to waste. Are there anyone out their that cuts their own? If so what do you use? I have heard shear, band saw and even use a wet (tile) saw, what is the best to use. Thanks John
I have heard of using a shear. I have a few 12"x12" sheets, but cutting makes a big mess so I buy them from Clover House or Fasttracks.
I like to offer to anyone who cuts or shears their own. I will give them have the sheets to cut / shear the other half for me.
When I was cutting them I set up my dremmel tool and mada a jig and fed them through the diamond wheel like a radial arm saw. I worked pretty good. Rob
I use a sheet metal shear similar to one of theses. Much less mess than sawing. http://www.able-engravers.com/shear_hole.htm Might want to check ebay. These are expensive
