I was checking out his site and products ( Traincat ) and there are a few tips on how to build certain kits...check out the tools he uses. http://traincat2.com/
I also seen a tool called The Bug which looks like a handy tool to have. I plan on getting me one of these.

Just noticed there is more than one version of this tool. I have done a few smaller kits and this tool would sure come in handy. There is also a tool for bending the cages for the industrial ladders on Traincats site.

Patience, jewelers file, Xacto blade, Patience, Bending Tool (in "how-to" section), tweezers (00 work best), Patience, Zona square, rail nippers, Patience and the #1 item ...

If you can build a plastic models, you can build a brass bridge. The bridges use tabs and slots to align and fit pieces together. The ties that held the pieces in the spue MUST be filed away for a good fit. Any of my kits can be built with either solder or CA glue. If using CA glue, use the thick type. I prefer Zap-A-Gap from Pacer. You will need toothpicks to help apply the glue in small controlled amounts.

If you need any help, email and I will walk you through it. I am test-building the HO version now. I will try to take a few pics as I am doing it.

    Bob,

You've got some nice looking model kits on your page, there. I noticed just now the woodchip loader. That would go well with my proposed mill.
