The collector's market for vintage Tyco Bubble Yum is pretty hot. An unboxed Bubble Yum can go north of $40, and at least that much or more for the Tyco Bubble Yum semi. After years of losing eBay auctions, I finally got a Tyco BY, then this turned up, and I finally got it after months of haggling with the seller. My question is which came first, Tyco or Bachmann with this piece? Was Bachmann trying to cash in on Tyco's successful billboard cars, and snipe this design?
