Well, there you go. The What’s New is ‘new’ at Winter Valley Regional Railroad - Welcome!. Hope you like the few pictures and the little story. There might even be a modelling thought or two in there. It’s a slice out of life really. My neighbours, John and Diane and family, have given over the 1400 sq. ft. walk out basement ( Northern Alberta Railway - Dunvegan to Dawson ) for the construction of a Granny Suite. The small, well appointed workshop stays indoors but the railway will be moving outside. A gently sloping area about 90 feet long and 40 feet wide will be the new home of the Northern Alberta Railway, South Okanagan Division. In the meantime, this is the beginning so stay tuned for more as John goes from plans on paper to shovels in hand. Enjoy.
Thanks very much. Glad that there was something in there for you. I'm going to take a large part of the summer off. Rebuilding the 1:1 yard -front and back. So I'm almost done with the June/July update. My adventures with Loree' will continue in the early fall. How x-rated can a Garden Railway web site get? I don't think anyone has pushed that envelope.
