I finally finish my first brass kit. I made couple of mistakes, but I will learn from it. Hopefully, the next one is better.
I dunno about you, but that BN Husky Stack car on the roof of some guy's mobile home seems like some sort fo error... Human or otherwise! Oh, yeah, that yard tower turned out very nicely!
Hey John, you see, it's not magic, you did it! Looks good for the first shot. I don't have any evidence of my first brass kit, it was so ugly my camera refused to work... BTW: I would turn the stairs by at least 90 degrees, otherwise you might get trouble with the unions....
Hemi, it was a derailment, and somehow, it ended in the roor of mobile home. I guess in real life, the mobile home would not be able to support the weight of the Husky. Thank you for the comments guys. I wasn't too confident about building brass kits, but I wanted a tower. I have several brass buildings I bought from ebay, so I know how good they look, but they never had a locking tower.
That's a pretty "slick" kit Robert. :we2-jiggy: I can already imagine it with the tanks and house weathered up! You are a fine craftsman. Keep up the great work!
Robert, With the way that's wired, the ATF and Homeland Security may be very interested in this photo. It looks beautiful as always. Bill Mock
Rob, one for the 3x6 End please. Actually, it that might look better on the Offset or missing mountain end of the Wye when I rework it. .
Robert, Bryan set you up for your come back line... See, I'm not the only one that says that. Kit looks great by the way. Dan S.
Another BAZ Model!!! Robert who worked on the design of A.J. Slick? I want one!!!!!I've got to have one!!! Where can I get these? Please tell me...... I need to know.......
Really really nice Robert. Are the tanks built up from discs and laser cut sides or are they solid? The wiring is of interest - for lighting or excitement for the fire department? ...don
