Well, I've managed to break off a piece of the brush that makes contact with the commutator for my marklin pacific steam loco. I like to clean them every 10-20 hours, and I have been getting quite good at it until I got a little too aggressive with the rubbing. Does anybody know where I can purchase replacement brushes and what number or type they would be? Thanks for all and any help. It is the 5 pole motor that comes with the starter set for the Northern Pacific.
You can try ajckids.com , as they list several spare parts. You might have to email with the part as listed in the exploded diagram. I seen the parts diagrams listed before, but cannot remember right now exactly where? -Robert
