    Oh--I was pretty dull last night. It never occurred to me that tarantulas are anything other than colorful!

    Actually, to me, it looks like a great crop of tobacco. I am modelling SW Virginia in the 1940's and tobacco was THE cash crop in the area. There was corn for eating and silage for cows, but the crop for selling was tobacco. The Astroturf sure looks like it. I had been looking for something to represent tobacco, but had not thought of Astroturf. Thanks for the photos and the inspiration.

    Actually, tobacco is a huge money crop in western Massachusetts and Connecticut! I have tobacco barns on the second level. I think I'll soon have tobacco barns on the third deck.

    I have been really dull-witted lately!

    So I spent the day building a two story warehouse for the first level. Go figure!
