I'm looking for replacement springs, both the kind that go above a leading or trailing truck on a steam locomotive and the kind that go in sprung freight car trucks. Anyone know of any suppliers/retailers for that sort of thing online? I tried acxesspring.com and their other site thespringstore.com but when you get into the small sizes they don't have much.
Kadee produces replacement springs for their freight car trucks. The steam locomotive springs are probably harder to find. Those springs probably differ on a model to model basis; my first idea would be to check the parts department for a manufacturer like Bachmann or BLI, someone who produces steam locomotive models.
