A coworker has a nice Z scale end table layout and rolling stock, all German prototypes and he's looking to sell the lot. The TrainStore would be a good start, but the items are in Germany, and we need to find fair market value for them to aid in pricing them. First, what is it worth (what can he really get for it), and second, where in Germany can he list it to sell it? The end table would be too fragile to ship to CONUS, or shipping would be prohibitively expensive. The photos:
Actually, TrainStore is defunct now. So FS listings, etc., are now placed in our TrainBoard Swap Meet forum. We do have a fair number of folks from Germany and Europe aboard. Beyond our site, I don't know of a place specific to Germany or Europe.
John, I didn't know one existed. Links? I want the guy to get a fair value out of it, but I don't know what the stuff is worth. By looking at it, does any of it strike you as odd, rare or old?
