    Where you from?

I was wondering if there is anyone else on this board who is from the Jamestown New York or
    nearby area?

Well in Jamestown we have the LAL. RR. It has 2 Alco's and moves 3-10 cars per week on the old Erie branch line. Down in Dunkirk CXS and NS move a hole lot of trains, though they have dropped off a bit with the economy. "BUMMER!"

Too bad there isn't some easy way to locate fellow Trainboard members near us. My neighbor three houses down the street might be a closet model railroader, but I may never know without some way to expose him and get him out of the hidden layout room or away from his computer.

Anyone is eastern Oregon interested in model railroading? Let's get in touch. N-trak anyone?
