Which decoders will work with NCE cab

    I am planning on buying a NCE Power Cab and was wondering what brands of decoders will work with NCE?

    It is my understanding that NMRA standards regulate that any brand decoder will work with any DCC cab, is my understanding correct?

    Any NMRA compliant decoder will work with the PowerCab. If you want to be brand-specific, then NCE will definitely work, as will TCS, Digitrax, Lenz and others.

    Welcome to Train Board jolio55. All decoders will work a NCE PowerCab as well as all DCC command stations.

    Yes, definively "All" is the rigth word.
    I've some Digitrax, Lenz, Soundtraxx mini tzunami, Zimo, one Locksound and have tested 2 NMRA compatible swiss decoders ... I cn't remember the company!
    NCE is a nice system, be sure.
