I'm looking at remotoring some locomotives. Which motors out there are the best: Faulhaber, Mashima, Sagami, NWSL offerings,.....? The motors are single shaft for some brass locos. I've seen both NWSL and faulhaber offer the sizes I need.
The ones that work. Grin! I don't think you can wrong with any on your list. Perhaps as a second choice... I would add the Kato and Atlas motors as well. It's a matter of how well it fits the shell or body of the locomotive you are focused on and whether or not it is compatable with your other locos. Enjoy!
