    DRG&W Yellow is too yellow.
    DRG&W Orange is too Orange.

What do you use for Aspen Gold?

Here is a GP7 shell on the LifeLike GP20.

    Hemi, That loco looks great!

I only see DRGW Orange and
    DRGW Gold in the Modelflex.

Is there a DRGW Yellow too?

    Thanks,

And what is the difference in DRGW gold and DRGW orange. One passenger and one freight?

Which colors match Micro Scale decals?

And...that sure is a great looking engine! [IMG]

    Loco1999 and Flash,
My mistake, it is DRGW Gold. The orange is too orange for engines delivered and painted before the former Conrail GP40's and GP60's. All Tunnel Motors, SD45/50/9/7's, all GP30/35/non-Conrail lineage GP40's and cab unit engines got Aspen Gold/DRGW Gold. Only the GP60's were delivered in DRGW Orange, as well as the Kansas City repainted conrail GP40 variants...
Thanks for the kind comments--it still needs a little dirt...

    Thanks Guys.

I am stripping the paint off that bottom piece.

Where can I order some modelflex?

    Thanks,

Any store that stocks walyther's products and order it, and N scale Supply and Caboose Hobbies (right off the top of my head) in Denver stock it.

You have got to be kidding me!! No wonder I couldn't seem to match up those paint colors. All I had to do was ask the question. [IMG]

Wow - I never knew that either! No wonder the sill on the GP35 that I painted 10 years ago doesn't match the decals! Live and learn; thanks Hemi! . . . guess it needs a little more weathering now. . . [IMG]
