I plan to be in Atlanta for the show. Who is going and are they planning to display or just watch and shop.
I will be there in body and spirit, and not necessarily both at the same time. The drive from Arizona to Atlanta will take alot out of me so if you see me there and I am non-responsive, then it will be my spirit you will be visiting with as my body might be asleep! I'll try to have my modified Z MOW DCC Truck working for the show!
AZL will be there with a full booth. Hans and I will man the booth for AZL, Rob Kluz will be there for Ztrack. I understand that MicroTrains will be there too, but I have also been told that Joe has picked up his interest in HO these days and isn't doing too much in Z. There is a large area that we reserved for Z scale because I thought that the Gotthard (Part II) was going to be ready in time for the show, but that plan fell through, so plenty of space for modules!
I'm in the process of making plans to be there now. Anyone have any advice for driving 700+ miles each way with out a copilot?.
Have lots of snacks and take breaks when tired. Also, don't close one eye when tired, because the other will follow.
STOP and walk around the car every couple of hours. ...based on 750,000 miles on the road and a few hundred hours as pilot-in-command. Instructions need to be revised a twitch when flying. ...don
Mmmhhh... No O2 mask on my 60-hp ultra-light twin-seater... And on the big screaming steel I'm earning my living on, my mate is going to oddly stare at me if I grab the mask while descending for the final approach, after a red-eye night flying over the Atlantic...:teeth: Sorry guys, won't be able to make it at NTS this year once more...
