    I have been trying to make the Milwaukee Road Hiawatha GHQ car sides. My problem is that I have essentially messed up two cars already. Is there someone that makes and paints cars as a service or is there a website anyone knows about?
    I know this will make the "hardcore hobbyist" cringe because I am paying someone else to "model" my trains. But I get frustrated and that is not fun. I have tried everything and I just don't think I am up to making this set. I have trouble with the assembly and the painting (too intricate for me).
    Well if anyone can help thanks!

    You are not alone. There seems to be a market for the kind of service you want. I have been doing that for some of my friends. However my plate is full with all their projects they want me to do plus all the ones I want to do for myself. Sorry I can't help you.

    =================================

    (Well I don't know what has happened to Brass Car Sides' website but here's what Nscale Supply has in their catalog listings:)

    It's just been that kind of week for me ... one post I can't get my facts correct; this post I can't read (I really should clean these bi-focals someday!:tb-cool:)

    Sorry for any mis-info ... I sure hope next week goes better for me! :tb-err: :tb-tongue:

    The Poster wants to know
    "Who Provides a Service to Build Kits Using Brass Sides and Core Kits", not who makes
    etched brass car sides.
    Try Mark Jirosek.....he is expensive but his work is top notch....even if his is cranky!!!
