I'm sure this has been asked & answered, but I searched (which I NEVER seem to be very good at), and could not come up with an answer.......... Is there anyone on the board who custom paints locomotives ( N scale ) for others? I'm not looking for anything too elaborate, just need a bunch of "Conrail" patch jobs on post merger locos from other roads. It would add a lot to my layout & realism, but I am disabled vet, and unable to spray paint due to a lung condition.
I am sure there are ALOT of guys on here that do custom work. I don't know any personally. However, I do know a guy here in the Seattle area that does some outstanding work. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
What are you looking for and starting with? Starting undec or a Conrail unit that is patched out? I did a Cal Norhtern leaser that was basically a REALLY faded Conrail unit with the logo painted over. I could probably do that again fairly easily. Are you looking for "good" or "show quality" I'm definately in the OK to pretty good skill level but more than willing to help out.
