With the release of the UP SD70 with the American flag who do you think will finally release a SD70 in N scale? Here is the locomotive that I'd like to buy
I want to go on the public record here and now,to say,I TOO WOULD LIKE TO BUY THIS LOCOMOTIVE(in N scale). But I don't need 900 of'em,90 will do just fine thank you. Gordon Lovern

Would love to see Atlas, Kato, or even Life Like do the SD70/SD75/SD70MAC's. I'm with Alan on the SD75 version though. That would be my preference because it would fit my BNSF in the spring of 2001 theme. Larry, SD75=Red and Silver, SD70MAC=Cream and Green [ 25 November 2001: Message edited by: BNSF FAN ]</p>
I'd go with Atlas since they have the SD60. I feel Kato will be tied to doing the 357 variations of the SD40-2 for some time yet. Of course, it should be available in 2 colours only - BN Grinstein Green and Cream, and EMD Leasing. Gary (waiting for a SD70 so I don't have to stretch the SD60MAC's mechanism)

I have not heard anything else about them Harold
Harold. There is a drop dead easy way to have a late production Kato SD40-2.Cut the nose off of a snoot nose version, and a earley production version and interchange them.If you make both cuts at the same place, you don't even have to use glue.Piece of cake.I have several of them.Best regards. Gordon
