I was perusing the Athearn website site the other day and well, I saw that they were releasing in HO scale Peadbody Short Line locos next year! NOOOOOO!!!!!!! I have been buying more N scale hoppers recently (Peadbody especially) and I know I can do more in N scale than HO in my given space. Well, I guess I can still buy the Peabody locos and put them on a shelf, or have them for a switching layout someday. Man, I wish they were in N scale! Athearn, well any Model RR store/site, is a dangerous place to visit! :tb-biggrin:
I think the quick answer is you are afflicted with the disease A2MR (addicted to model railroading)... no cure has been found. Look at the positive - you can have both an HO and N scale layout and benefit from the best of each scale. Cheers
You are likely to migrate to HO eventually, if not to an even larger scale. It becomes a reality as we age. So, if they are hard to come by in any scale from year-to-year, and they are good runners and such, why not squirrel a couple away for later use? Name one modeller who isn't a packrat?
