    I don't think they have a number scheme, other than "economy" (which means use whatever number it had :) )

    Dumb question but…

    Were these available from EMD as a stock wide cab, or was it a 1:1 kitbash, in other words, custom built by the rail roads.

    Did any of the major railroads (ie CSX, NS, Conrail) ever have any of these?

    I believe they were offered by EMD, but nobody bought them but them but Canadian roads...

    These cabs are insulated more then a standard cab. Thicker walls, window defroster, better heating system.

    Jerry, are you sure you want to be driving one of these units on a mid-summer Alabama afternoon??? Those mods definitely are NOT needed down here.:shade:

    You are SOOOOO right! :) The mechanical dept has been installing fans in all the ATN's locomotives lately, which will make a big difference.
