I am sad to report to Trainboard.com that William S. Kuba, a noted figure in Iowa Railroading, the Midwest and a 60 year member of the Iowa Chapter of the NRHS, passed away this afternoon after a short battle with an inoperable brain tumor. He was 75. He was one of a few who photographed with a slide camera and did so up until his death. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. May God give him High Greens all the way to Heaven.
Sorry to hear the news, Buddy. At my age it sure makes one think how limited our time on this earth is.
I remember when I first started seeing his name, was way back about the very late 1960's, when I was just starting to learn about the CGW RY.
