I know I said this before about that GN Boxcar and Lost it. So I won't aggrovate Karma and mention what I'll be coming home with tomorrow. I'll keep my mouth shut and pray it stays there. But it's a missing piece of my roster I'll be showing off tomorrow. Hopefully some switches. If not the switches, watch the HO Scale forums, I'll have a pair of chessie Auto Carriers hopefully.

I wanted this preview post for the train show to be bigger until I remembered opening my mouth last month about my GN Boxcar then Karma alerted all the GN Modelers to come out and I lost it. So what piece is it? Search my blog. I have my roster marked there for what needs to be picked up. Pick anything out of the roster you think it is, I won't say a word until it's safely in my grasp :)

Til Tomorrow when I can fully update.

Phase 4 begins. I had to do some car work for my girlfriend and it involved picking up some parts that were being held way past their due date. So it was a quick stop at the train show and I went directly for something I wanted. Burlington Northern Long Steel Caboose #11519. The second caboose has arrived at her home. Until repairs can be made on #11119, she's been relegated to the switch yard for now. Brand New in Box 1995 Production caboose. Enjoy a piccy:

Another item on my "Roster" has shown up. I will not mention it for the reasons I didn't mention the caboose. It is being held for a couple weeks and next saturday I will pick it up because I didn't bring any extra cash on me. I don't pay with credit card at the hobby shop's table because they tell me I have to pay sales tax. They perfer cash customers so that it's easier on the customer and they don't have to charge sales tax. What is the item? Keep eyes on this thread in the next 2 weeks and you shall see.

EDIT: Apparently what was rostered in was "11522". This is "11519" and I already owned "11119". This means that there are 3 BN Long Steel Cabooses so far. Interesting. I really will have a caboose pool when I get finishes.

It's the end of april. What a fun month it's been. My caboose has been broken in, both Cabeese make their happy homes here in Wolfcreek serving the small mining communities well. I promised a surprise video but it didn't happen. You see the surprise item was my Gray/Blue Stainz 1980 Tender. 130. Now Mind you this is the price that was paid on ebay by the hobby shop and they've spent 2 years looking for this one. I'm okay paying that. But we crossed signals (Pun intended) and they put it away and forgot where. I got a call the other day saying it was being loaded onto their trailer for the train show in may. May 2nd is the show. I finally have a complete stainz set. I've waited almost 20 years for this. I will be ordering detail parts. I will have the pictures of the initial run for you in May's update.

Have a safe and happy month. And not to go off topic but Nashville sucks. (See: NHL 2010 Playoffs thread in the cattle car for more info on that joke.)
