:eek:mg: Yesterday I received my issue of Scale Rails from the NMRA, and saw a great article by one of TB's very own, Wolfgang Dudler, writing about his Westport Terminal RR and about putting a new motor and sound in a loco.

In making the link to his gallery above, I noticed he's posted over 1900 photos and has had almost 119,000 views.:shade:

    Congratulations, Wolfgang!!

Thank you, too much kudos.
I think everyone likes to show his efforts. When I participated my first FREMO meeting with my station Naumburg in 1987 people looked at my manual push-pull turnout mechanism. And at later meetings I saw this made by others and how it changed. When I first time came with my working gates at the Naumburg-module it was interesting. You could count to three. Then was the head of the people who watched the moving gates under the module - or they didn't watch! This was in 1992. At Model Railroader they made from my article a perfect drawing.
And with a homepage you can show your work, too. I've only one little problem, writing in English, in German it is much more easy for me. I was grown up in Eastern Germany (until 1961) and there I had to learn Russian at first, not English.

Congrats, Wolfgang! I understand your problem. About 35 years ago, I could speak passable German, and even write a bit. But it always scared me terribly that I'd make a stupid mistake!
