Final Hi all and Merry Christmas, Final stage of this project. Thank god, it was not one of my favorite ones. I personally think I had 2 left hands during that project: detailing doesn't look as good as expected, had to paint it twice, every time I worked with super glue is messed around and touched the loco....grrr. Same thing with the paint job, for sure there will be some colour were it should not be.... So I decided to age and weather the loco to simply patch the mess. And from a distance I'm quiet satisfied at the end, but I hate the digital cams with this high resoltion :
Gerd, you are your own worse critic. A averge modeller can build and paint, but a master modeller knows what to do when things goes wrong.
Nice work Gerd, I love all the details. The windshield wipers are a nice touch, as well as the MU cables. Cab door grabs, and mirrors too! Sweet!
Again, great work! Makes me feel better when I hear you guys have trouble as well, but yet still turn our some great looking stuff!!!
