Just turned 80 year old Harold Borovec "oiling around" the Cowlitz, Chehalis and Cascade no. 15 last May. I just ordered the book "It's Work" published by the Center for Railroad Photography which features this very theme. I'll report on it when it arrives. :teeth:

More engines are needed to pull a coal train eastbound towards Altoona, PA. This was shot from Front Street in Cresson, PA. It was interesting how quickly that added the additional power. Seconds before helpers are added.
