I have been wanting more tree's for years, and this time I finally took the plunge to make Woodland Scenics Realistic tree's. This is way easier than I thought it would be. And the price was right ( Thank You 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby) finally. I know I'll get better as I make more, only 6 done so far out of the 36, but I am really enjoying it.

Finally something besides those, Bachmann I think, pack of Christmas looking tree's. Curious to see what all 36 will look like. At least I can fill in some blank space now with tree's as I try and figure out my layout.

Is that regular old white school glue you are using there? You ought to put that grand to work helping make trees!

What grand? Me think's me is confused, or I don't get the joke :)

Yes cheap white glue. Once again why it is called the CL (Cheap Layout) The tree's were a stretch :) Actually next I am going to get the Just Plug lights at Hobby Lobby for 40% off. Yeah so I have to make a few trips. I go by there 2 -3 times a week anyway. Of course the actually lamppost I want they don't carry in N-Scale, so I'll have to get those somewhere else to go with the Just Plug system.

I am really liking the tree's so far. I don't know why I waited so long. I really thought it was way more difficult than this. And yes I know people make them better, but I am happy for the first time making them.

Sorry, just reread your other thread. Have your niece help with the trees. My 8 year old grand daughter likes making all kinds of things. You might just hook her in for life!

Yeah I am going to try to save a few tree's for next time my niece visit's. I am definitely trying to get her and her sister interested.

Well, back to making tree's. Although they are definitely beginner tree's the layout looks so much better with them, although it is still in the planning stages.

Further mock up with card stock buildings and the new WS Realistic tree's. And my German village card stock village. I think they are N-Scale but not really sure. But I really like them and they are fun to cut out and glue together. I another else they look good as mock up buildings instead of just plain white paper. Wish I could find an entire town of card stock of a USA town that I like t his much. Also, like the Metcalfe buildings but they are also to their area and not USA.

I also would like to buy the WS Town and Factory Kit ( except I do not like painting, thus the card stock ) and maybe put them where the German village else. Not really sure yet.
