This photo was taken over 15 years ago on my largest version of the WVRR. At that time there was over 220 feet of main line. That means I need over 1200 feet in G Scale just to keep up. ------------------ Dave Winter Owner/Operator Winter Valley Regional Railway
No snow in sight that day Dave. Is that the radio studio or just the transmitter building? Is CFGC a real station or fictitious? What province? Charlie ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO! | IAMOKA.com [This message has been edited by E-8 (edited 24 August 2000).]
Charlie In the foothills of the Rockies? No, there's was no snow but the trees were changing colour so an N Scale storm could blow in any time now. We had to get the equipment running by late September. That radio station transmitter building was modeled after a prototype near Saskatoon but the call letters are made up. I lived in Grande Centre Alberta at the time. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by E-8: No snow in sight that day Dave. Is that the radio studio or just the transmitter building? Thanks Dave. I'm a radio broadcaster so I always think it's neat when I see someone with a radio station on their layout. Charlie ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO! | IAMOKA.com
