Dads and young railroaders just starting out:
Look at my add in the Yellow Pages for "N" scale stuff kids might want to start out, or add that cannot afford new item prices. Email me and we can talk.

I'll answer all inquiries by direct email if you want privacy. OK?

When I was a kid of 8 I finally got a raise to 25 cents a week allowance because I remembered to mow the lawn and keep the leaves swept up off the driveway without having to be told.

By learning to save up, I was able to buy a $1.45 HO kit. Just a few weeks later I could buy some paint and a brush.

I was up into my teens before I spent any real money for anything. So I remember how I would long to have a few cars and could only wish for them!

It seems to me there must be some of the younger fellows who may feel the same way today that are not able to buy a car or engine at the retail prices.

There must be some who read our posts, who are too young to be members, but who would enjoy running trains if they could afford them.

My offer is to help those boys get a start, or add a few more cars, track, or whatever.
