Hey everybody! Since we got this new toy I thought it would be really cool to get to play with it here ihe Canadian Pacific Railway Forum. This poll will contain 8 questions using some of the most well known CPR units. Since there are so many different types of locomotives there is an "OTHER" spot which I am sure many will use for their favourite. Soon I will post a steam poll as well. I voted in the SD90 catagory for the SD9043MAC, I really like the look of the locomotive while I am railfanning and the shield really adds to size and power of the image the locomotive gives off... Dane
MLW M640! The best design features of ALCo and GE in one unit, and pretty cool looking to boot! Now if I could only manage to see it.
My vote is tallied in the SD40 category but in reality I only wanted to vote for the SD40-2F Red Barns. Those are my favorite unit to run and look at. The big cab and that passenger look make them special to me.
In my opinion, anything Action Red (not system or newer) or maroon. But if I had to pick one, I like the "classic" F-units Daniel D (or maybe S2/3/4 in Action Red [ 28 January 2002, 22:56: Message edited by: Daniel D ]
Results... Of 11 votes, 5 voted for some form of the many SD40s CPR has or still does roster. There were 2 votes for the SD9043MAC, 1 for the "Classic F Unit" and 3 for the good 'ol "Other" Happy Railroading! Dane
