Sticky Monk asked this in the HO forum. How about you? If you had to choose just ONE of your roster as your favourite, which one would it be? I find it almost impossible to choose, but when I get it fully detailed, it will probably be my Santa Fe C30-7 in blue and yellow warbonnet. Have to admit, I am rather keen on C44's also! ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com http://Andersley.homestead.com http://galleryusarail_tehcaj.homestead.com http://eurogallery.homestead.com
Can only get choice down to three! 1. Matched set of Baldwin BF16(sharks) pulling 50 car coal drag. 2. Double header K4 steam hauling mixed freight. 3. GG-1 pulling 10-12 heavyweight passenger load. Enjoy seeing some power useage. ....eddelozier
Even though it doesn't run real well, I'm kind of partial to my GP 38-2, since it's the one that I modified the most.
I can't decide between these two: 1) Frisco E-8 2) Frisco E-8 One runs in front and the other behind to pull the Texas Special. I'll have to think about it I guess Charlie ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO!
My favorite locomotive on my N roster is the Kato RSC-2 in Seaboard Air Line. I have two in N and three in HO. Cool loco, cool railroad . Now when a nice new Atlas or Kato GP 38-2 is released that will be my favorite (after bashing a high short hood on it and decorating it in Southern's tuxedo scheme ) Look Ahead, Look South [This message has been edited by Chris McDaniel (edited 10 April 2000).]
My CP Rail Kato SD45-2Mu Runs great, and is slightly modified for service on Eastern BC Rail LINK BC Rail King

it will have to be my SD60M in UP number 6166, as the real loco means something to me ------------------ wheres all the C636's???? stickymonk.com Matts Photo gallery
I'd have to say my Kato SD45 custom painted in Demonstrator livery ------------------ http://members.optusnet.com.au/~pcassar/index
For me it would have to be my Kato C44-9W painted for the Norfolk Southern. I love those engines!! ------------------ Mike Drzycimski Arlington, TX www.crosswinds.net/~mdrzycimski
My favourite is my Rivarossi 2-8-8-2 Mallet. This loco runs like a dream. A great slow runner. It took ten minutes to travel 12 inches. Max speed is about 50 scale MPH. I couldn't ask for better. Robin
Bi-Polar electric pulling the Olympian Hiawatha across the Coast Division into Seattle. Home-built "SD10's" or EMD SDL39's pulling a local freight on the Sisseton branch. GE U-Boats (mixed BN and Milwaukee paint) hauling coal trains eastward across South Dakota and Minnesota.
That sound like a fine running locomotive, Robin! That's as slow as it will go, eh? ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com http://Andersley.homestead.com http://galleryusarail_tehcaj.homestead.com http://eurogallery.homestead.com

Sorry guys but mine has to be a 2-8-8-4 EM-1 pulling about one hundred thirty four foot hoppers up Sandpatch.Or if I have to,Three GP-30's painted blue with that sunburst on a Timesaver.Elephant style of course!!!!!!!
I'd have to say the W5 class Mikado. I have a spare Kato Mike to bash one out of. Now if I can get a Pacific that runs as good as the Mike... ------------------ Robert Ray The NP & UP N-Scale Railroad
I must say though-I am inpartal to that HO GN doodle bug I have, I know in the true sense it isn't an engine, but it has a motor in it! Dane N.
