Great, nice variation ! Any chance of switching to industry standard MT couplers so the hieght (and look) matches better ?
Jeff, AZL is staying with their couplers. They allow AZL to keep costs down. I have found that they are designed for operation. These couplers don't allow cars to uncouple! Plus, they work with MTL couplers so mixing and matching is not a problem. AZL did design their couplers to have the same size coupler box as MTLs so you can swap with so desired. But, do to the design of the SD70s, you may be forced to go with body mounts if you want MTLs. Note, AZL's coal porters and autoracks will also use their new couplers. At this stage, the only locos from AZL that will come with MTLs is their brass line. Rob
Those windows just don't look right. mg: mg: Otherwise... :teeth: Z has progressed to a high level of quality faster than N did. Took 25+ years in N, what has it been in Z?
AZL has asked Ajin to thin the silver around the side windows. It is too wide. With luck, we will see the adjustment in future releases. Rob
