I have just received notice that Zedex 2009, The U.K No 1 show for Z modellers will be staged at it's previous venue, Kingston Bagpuize near Oxford, on the 11th of October. Once again it is being organised by Peter McConnell in conjuction with the Oxford and District Model Railway Club. I have confirmed that Cuyahoga, My Nickel Plate Road layout will be there and as further layouts are confirmed I will add them to this thread. Once again there will be specialist traders and also the usual club sales stand (tell the wife to hide my chequebook!) For anyone in europe at this time I would heartily recomend this get together of like minded modellers, I have always found the chance to meet fellow Zed-Heads one of the highlights of the year Cuyahoga at Merseyside model railway exhibition For more details contact Peter on petermcconnell@waitrose.com More soon
Many years ago when I was living in England I remember seeing a whitemetal body kit for a Z scale class 47. IIRC it was designed to fit a Br 103 mechanism. BTW, Mr Modellbau (may I call you Exact?), that's a really impressive website you have there. Those machined outside cranks on Tristan are wonderful!
