Torsja- Look very good. I like your static grass qapplicator. 1st generation? Ha Ha...... I just completed two grassinator's one's for Robert Ray. You guys are doing a very nice job!!!! Good Luck at the show. Take care, Chris
Update, we've ordered some SP Power from Chief Joe D'Amato for the Show and as always he made a great Job. Thank's Joe! BTW, you guys recognize of course the stunning "Billy's House" from the Movie Polar Express. Thank you very much Ben for your awesome work.
Jurg, nice work . Its amazing how much detail is in such a small area. It nice see how teamwork can dol
Wow, very nice looking. I am especially intrigued by that SP geep. That humongous snow plow. It looks like it's HO. Shoot some more pics of that Geep from different angles close up. Can't get over that plow. Laughing my a-- off. But protypically that is SP. It just looks so funny in tiny Z scale.
Just a little update with the new Trainstation build from Henrik. As we not had a chance to build them during the show, Henrik was so nice and traded the Station with me. Thanks again. BTW don't forget to mention those nice black widow Engines!
Jurg, I remember ridding those bilevel cars back in the 70's when I lived in the Bay Area. I had just graduated from college and was living in San Carlos which is half way down the pennsula. I was one of the thousands of commuters that rode it into San Francisco on a daily basis. My wife and I were in the area last year attending the ETE EuroWest GTG and noticed that many of the grade crossings have been replaced by grade seperation bridges. I read last week that there is discussion of electricfing the line as the trains would have a faster acceleration and more trains could be operated. With the high gas prices here in California, all of the peak hour trains are standing room only, bummer. Robert
Jurg, those black widow scheme really look sharp. Joe does a great job painting engines. They really do a great job of complement the look of the module.
OK, I've removed the burned Building because it was to close to the Station. It will find a better place in one of the future Modules. Here is a wide angle shot:
Yes, the burnt building should be a background model, so we can see that fine station up front as a foreground model!
I have now finniced two more building dioramas for Jürg's module. Hope he forgive for posting theese for him here now.
Torsja, the ultimate scratch builder ! I LOVE that 'busted' sign look on the Building Materials . Such details. You certainly know how to bring parts from everyone together. For a size perspective, can photo holding the module in your hand, using the same camera distance ? Maybe set it over the edge of the table, photo 1 and then place your hand under and around corner edges, photo 2. These details everyone I show, but need good reference with same exact camera postion.
I'm glad you revived this thread Eddie, because I get to look at Torsja's fantastit Flying A Gas Station again! I love it, it's just so cool!
