Ztrack Craftsman Kits: 53' Bulkhead Flat Cars

Our newest laser cut wood kits have been designed for the Ztrack Craftsman Kits line by master Z scale modeler Robert Ray. Each single car kit contains decals printed for the CSX, Frisco and NS road names, you decide on which road name you'd like when you're building

When you purchase the 3-Pack of Bulkhead Car Kits you receive 3 decal sets which include CSX, Frisco and NS decals so you can mix and match your road names!

This offers you maximum flexibility over your roadnames. The kits are laser etched wood. The kits use 'peel and stick' assembly which makes building these cars much easier than many standard model railroad craftsman kits.

    Hello Rob,
I just went to your website to order a set of the new Bulkhead Flats and seeing as I'm in Canada I added in the International/Canada shipping option and the shipping rate came out to 28.00. That is a worse shipping rate than any of the 'thieves' on Epray. What is the actual shipping rate to send a set here. Thanks.

    Bob,

The days of cheap postage are long gone. Sorry. The new postal rate hike we had here in the US is a killer and I lost some of my old options for sending international. We now send all international items Prioirty Mail. The good news is that for Canada, for one of these kits, I can take $10.00 off. The shipping will be $18.00. This won't appear online, but we will adjust before we charge your card. If multiple kits are ordered, this will affect shipping charges due to the higher levels of insurance needed.

For the record, Canada is the most difficult country we ship to. Options for insurance and safe handling are limited. At one time we were able to offer better pricing, but not any more (with the exception of subscriptions).

    International Shipping from the USA

    Rob,

I have found the latest postal rates really suck bad. Where I could get away with sending a small box to Germany or the UK for $5 or so now costs about $15.00 or more. I hate the new rates!!!

    Hello Rob,
Thanks for the reply to my question. Using the Global Priority shipping at the USPS is a waste of a customers hard earned money. I received 2 shipment from the US today, neither one used Global Priority and they both made it here. Global Priority doesn't make it here any faster and insurance is a complete waste of money. Your Postal System and ours are some of the best in the world and not prone to losing shipments, its not good for business. You can ship up to 4 lbs First Class International for about 10 bucks, thats a whole pile of Zed product and the rate lowers for less weight. I'm sitting here holding one of your Zed Centerbeam Kits and it could be shipped in a bubble envelope probably for less than a couple of bucks not including the cost of the envelope! I hate to see you losing sales for the sake of the shipping rate. Regards
    Bob

    Bob,

We no longer use First Class mail to ship parcels. Due to the fact that mot of our items are sent insured, we have to use Priority Mail. This is NOT Global Priority which is a different class. First class has been too unreliable and we have found a high damage and loss rate. This is not good. Ztrack prides itself on our customer service and the ability to reach clients in 40 countries. For this, we have chosen the best shipment method to reach customers. But alas, there are costs involved.

Tonight, John Cubbin and I reviewed Ztrack's shipping rates. We will be creating a tier for Canada since we can offer a slightly better shipping on these orders. But this will be based on the Priority Mail model and not first class.

    Rob
