I came across this earlier today, but not sure as to how long it has been posted on the site: http://www.ztrackcenter.com/intermodal_2/index.html. Rob, e-mail has been sent concerning this.
Arnie, they are sold out long time ago. I did hear FR wants to do another run. Can I count on you to take 15?
Hey there. Yeah, I had noticed they have been sold out for awhile now...probably long before I dived into Z!? But, I just happened to notice the posting at the bottom of the page about Ztrack+FR considering a second run of these on a "per order basis", taking reservations. I had 6 starts, so I finally got 2 days off to do a bit of Z'ing, researching, and of course purchasing. Count on me taking 15, if you get 14?
Arnie, you can get this one. http://www.ztrackresale.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=38_3&products_id=1100
Acccording to Malcom Cleaveland on Yahoo Z_Scale forum: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/z_scale/message/69988 _____________________ "I produce injection molded corrugated containers in 2 sizes, 53' and 40', so I am biased of course. 40' pad-printed containers available from dealers: APL, China Shipping, COSCO, Evergreen, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, Ivaran, "K" Line, Maersk, MSC, Nedlloyd, Yang Ming, and Zim. Undecorated available too. 53' pad-printed containers: APL, CSX (blue version), Hub Group, Swift, and Triton. Undecorated, too. Coming soon, APL Ocean53 (one of the few 53's that moves in maritime shipping), J.B. Hunt, Pacer Stacktrain, and Schneider. These containers are produced in collaboration with Harald Freudenreich of Freudenreich Feinwerktechnik and are compatible with AZL, Freudenreich, Buehring, and MTL well cars. The pin system mates with Marklin containers and can be made compatible with AZL and MTL containers, especially if these containers are in the top position when stacked." _____________________ I'll see what I can when I am at Altenbeken in 2 weeks. and post pix, if any. .
Guys, I would love to do another run of the FR 56' Gundersons. They are cool cars! I am still taking reservations (no money down). I just need to make sure we can get enough orders to do the run. My thought is to offer 2 versions. Open cars so we can use those great containers from 52' containers from MCZ as well as the 2nd version of car with 28' UPS containers. Tim Buehring produced the 28' UPS stack of containers for the first run. I dropped Tim an email to see if he is willing to do a single stack, or even another double stack of these. I will circle back with FR to see if the minimum has changed. If you are interested (no obligation), drop me an email. Let me know if you are interested in the open, UPS or both. My email is ztrack@aol.com Rob
