I so rarely take a photo of my trains, I can't even do it that way. A bad old habit I can't seem to change.
Here are about half of mine,, just the ones on track now. I still have some in boxes still,, like we all do. See ya. Wyatt
I only have 2 or 3 caboose pictures on Railimages. Wonder if I can put up a pic here since the "new Trainboard" w/o going through railimages. No, looks like I need to go through Railimages. Here's one of my logging road caboose with a dog as assistant conductor. I guess that's it/.
My small assortment that will probably get thinned some more. Current fleet. by John Moore posted Jun 4, 2006 at 11:28 PM
Here are some from a not represented railroad. I also have a transfer caboose but can not find it in my mess. Oh well heck it's here somewhere. Carl
Carl, those SP cabs are excellent! Here's an oldie but a goodie...a Micro-Trains Western Pacific caboose.
Here are all mine...on the caboose track. Plus one on the main behind a mixed freight lead by Santa Fe's GP40 #2964 SAM_4636x by mtntrainman posted Aug 6, 2015 at 11:46 AM
Have a whole bunch of cabooses, but only 4 types on the main layout..... One unrebuilt 2080 class, just for old times sake: (redone Trix) A fairly decent fleet of Centralia Shops/Intermountain Ce-1/2's, *pool cabooses) with Richmond Controls lighting packages: One oddball local caboose with the yellow cupola, with a full bidirectional lighting package. Trix rebuild with lots of etched parts & wire grabs. The first run of Ce-8 Extended Vision ones (this is a rebuilt Bachmann, actually closer than the Atlas). Older photo, has since been equipped with the lighting/marker package. Went through a lot of work to put Kato underframes under about half of them to make the pickup more reliable for lighting, not sure it was worth the work, but at least they are done. The first couple ones with lighting were a novelty, now I've come to depend on picking up the marker, particularly during night operations. Big fan of the Richmond Controls stuff.
I found a B&O caboose made by Atlas in my packed boxes yesterday; I had forgotten I purchased it. Label reads HubHobby, so guess it is from my MN time.
I'm lovin' this thread! One of the reasons that I model the 70s and 80s is because I love cabooses (cabeese?). A train just ain't finished unless there's a caboose on the rear end!
