I know of a pair of old cabooses sitting in the weeds on a long abandoned wye. I need to take pictures of them. The wye was a junction of the old Frisco and Iron Mountain & Southern at Delta, MO. Kind of sad seeing them sitting there like that.

Yes, something to mow around but it would be worth it. I'll grab a photo of them soon and post under Proto Photos.

Some nice cabeese everyone! Got some progress on the LCL cab for the NPBH, here's some pics up to it's first coat of paint. Not necessarily in order..this one is with the doors done and new handrails fabricated from .008 guitar wire.
    PIC_0580.JPG
These little thumbnails are of the process, the door pieces are from RLW and the rest is styrene for trim and a backing plate for strength.

And then with the first coat of paint. The interior is tan and the exterior wis a mix of Tuscan and Red. Still gotta put in the new couplers. Thanks for putting up with this stuff! PIC_0584.JPG

Went back out to the Trainshed and got a second coat on, dried, (floquil is great! Going to miss it when it's all gone...,) lettered and numbered. A few final details tmrw when the dull cote is done and will set a pic up, if I get out there. Was bad weather today, so train time. Tomorrow I have a trailer house to move, and a few other things to do...so maybe....:cautious:

Umm, I believe that grasshopper on the handrail has 7 legs. I believe if you fixed that, everything would be OK.;)
