Is it me or is this Engine in trouble? It looks like its been dropped on it's smokestack. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bachmann-Un...195908?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item4ac1742b84
Bets are there is a smoke unit inside that overheated badly. Yeah, it's in trouble. Put it under that pile of melted freight cars and it will look just fine! Dave
8 feedback score, 90% positive, bent handrails, $100, NO way: http://www.ebay.com/itm/atlas-frisc...236055?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3ccf235157
Also in the HO category, right below the Frisco engine, (in their other items FS), is an MKT unit- "Atlas Life Like". Whatever that means. But it, too, is shown as being O.
The Frisco category is HO>Life Like - but his title says Atlas. His feedback has a negative one, that unfortunately seems to match the way its being listed. (says in summary, 'seller unaware of what they are doing')
I have to say, I get really tired of having items watched, with no bids. And I am talking about like 8 or 9 watchers. I dont get it when the item is worth $18, many are being bought during the same time at that price or higher, but mine gets passed up at $11 - maybe I should call it vintage, and list it for $100 ?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atlas-O-Frisco-SLSF-MP-15-diesel-3-rail-tmcc-/400318141227 Atlas, 3-rail 0 gauge, Frisco, cab number 363. List price $399. Shown is #362, so not sure, yet. In 2009, MR reviewed them, $480 list for powered, two numbers (one powered, one dummy) one of the two (not specified) was 365. "Road number may be different than pictured--Please ask if you need a certain road number" Dave
I found a real good one Check out the shipping cost... http://www.ebay.com/itm/MARKLIN-307...241919?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item257b2b8dff It may have been a slight mistype on the sellers part. Found a different one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Train-Set-8...429332?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3a7df6cc54 Found yet another one http://www.ebay.com/itm/HO-Scale-Gr...675387?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item53f3dda77b
I like the last one: "All but two Locomotives/Engines are not in tact..." I wonder what those three offers have been?
Probably not near what he is asking. Those are some rough looking locos, although there is some interesting ones. Who know, it might be what someone has been searching for.
Geez....the term "painted with a broom" springs readily to mind. Blow 'em up and it really bad. One looks like a Brit double-ender painted PRR Tuscan....class 45? What is that F unit with the top whacked and pantographs? Looks like the broom went dry while being painted. Dave
:teeth: LOL yeah a broom did come to mind! What caught my eye was that long blue thing with the ship's bow stuck on the front end. What IS that? Is it real???
That thing is a rather altered model of the BR Midland Pullman (better known as the Blue Pullman) power car. However, they never had the rather big and ugly bow addition, I assume a previous owner decided to make something new.
I am truly amazed at the laziness of so many people - break up this junk into smaller lots, then they just might be able to sell it, as well as be able to set a more realistic price. All are ridiculous.
