Another addition to the ATSF_Arizona web page.... photo collection of recent entries into NMRA Coast Division, Pacific Coast Region - Show and Tell and Model Contests. Lots of good modeling! : http://home.comcast.net/~j.sing/#Model_Contest Including one from June 06 by some dude born in Arizona and now living in California, apparently some sort of Santa Fe fan:
While packing away most of my rollingstock today so I can clean the layout, I stored all my MoPac cabooses in a storage siding, thought it would make a good photo for this weeks foto fun.
Nice Caboose Row Nice cabooses, Colonel. Hope we can see some pictures of the freight station and the scenery behind them. That is all new to me. Nice work!
D.A.R.E. to be great. Well too hot to go outside...but scored a nice addition to the BearCat at the LHS. I was told that they were not even going to produce them then did not see them on the LBF website...ola' while picking up my latest Lowell Smith special edition...there it was...and now here it is...
Some shots from my new layout. Hot main line action and scenic railway plugging along : Little farther down the line : :shade:
Paul Tim Thanks Paul and Tim, that's about all of the landscaping that I have completed. I finally finished laying track and will be concentrating on scenery. A lot to do!!!! Will try to get some wide angle shots to show the layout as soon as I can. Tim - that upper route is a tourist scenic railway as well as a line to serve a gravel pit that will keep my shay busy, some day.
Russell Another great model based on a prototype! John Sing Nice looking set of locos! Paul That is a great collection of cabooses! Mike Cool locos! John W Awesome scene! Satokuma Cool boxcar! Bob I really like the B&W and sepia shots! Carl Great looking locos!
Well I finally got the Cement Distributor area to a point where I can run trains and take photos. There is still a lot of trees and other scenery features to add but the RK&M’s first industry has rail service. And here is the first delivery passing by.
Got up to the train room yestarday and ran a couple of trains around for the first time since mid March. Been checking out weekend update every week to keep tabs on everyone, great stuff as usual. Also put a decoder in another one of my MEC-GP-38's. Took some photos of my new MEC-RS-11's and Evans gons also. Unfortuneatly I could not upload them due to file size. I took them at 640 x 480 and set the camera at poorest qaulity and still no luck. I then resized them and still to big, I'll keep fooling around with them. Here's a link to where they are, they are in the MEC folder. John http://www.n-scaler.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10005
