I asked Matt the saem thing. He simply replied, "We'll see." And winked. :)

As already stated, these are GP60Ms. SP didn't have any Ms.

I wonder if Fox Valley would consider making GP-60's. This possibly would require only a new cab section to replace the "M" cab. The rest of the tooling and mechanism is already done.

I know Life-Like made these several years or so ago, but no "B" units, and I am not aware of any re-runs to come from them.

Fox did a very nice job with their Gevo's. I would expect they would do a similarly fine job on GP-60's. I would definitely buy some ABBA units in Santa Fe's blue/yellow scheme.

    Wow...such a long sought-after item!

I'm not even an ATSF/BNSF modeler but even I think this is exciting!

Of course there's always trackage rights, eh? :) :) :)

The GP60M A and B units only wore the red/silver superfleet scheme, the standard cab GP60's were in the yellow bonnet scheme.

Life Like Proto made a GP-60 Standard Cab in SP, I see them all the time on E-Bay for around $50.00, I have one and it is nice looking and nice running. If it is a FVM you desire with a standard cab, very understandable that this is exactly what you want. Your wants and needs in N scale are important.

The Life Like N scale units are nice.
I've got both Rio Grande and the EMD Demo unit.
Smooth and quiet. Even then, I'm not sure!
I don't think I've run mine yet! Or very little back when I got 'em.

I have 4 of the Life Like PROTO GP-60's 1 UP, 1 SP, and 2 in ATSF Ylw & Blu, and they all run as smooth as anything Kato or Atlas offers, and possibly quieter.
They are failry easy to find, so I think you have your answer in those. There are
2 on bay right now for $49.95 "Buy It Now", you should get them, that's a great price.
