Keep in mind this is "purchased" software so we have to wait for the vendor to figure out what is wrong, make a fix, and then send out a patch so we can apply it. So, in the mean time for those bumping into this issue please be patient and load images in what ever manner works for you... :boy::boy::boy::boy:
I think more than a patch, they will suggest some change in server settings. I just communicated with them on it today. Charlie
I still get the problem sometimes too, but if I click "Refresh" :computer: it will go on and upload.:lightbulb:
Tried refresh too, but no luck. It's really hit and miss, but I do have the occasional successful upload.....
Just tried again, still no good. Will it be possible to let me (and others) know when the problem is fixed? Since I'm uploading from a very sloooow phone connection, I'd prefer to not chase up my phone bill any more, with no results to show for all the effort. (I solemny promise not to flood the site with pictures once it works again....)
Andre, et. al.: Same here uploading on dial up. I could not upload a picture that was 640 KB in size. I resized it to 150 KB and then I could upload successfully, one picture at a time. FWIW, you know.
The software developer has look at this and doesn't see anything wrong. Are people still having the problem or is everything fine? Charlie
Charlie, He didn't look so good. No change, I just tried one picture and I still get: "Warning: move_uploaded_file(/tmp/phpZ94Bzj) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48 Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpZ94Bzj' to '/home/frisco/public_html/railimages/uploads/3785/Rainbow_Commuter.JPG' in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48" followed by a message: "Unable to move file [/tmp/phpZ94Bzj] [/home/frisco/public_html/railimages/uploads/3785/Rainbow_Commuter.JPG] "
Concur with Andre. It's still sporadic uploading one picture and will not ever load more than one picture for me. I am using dial up, too. I did not seem to have the trouble on broadband.
I can upload multiples as long as they are within the size requirement, or it will re-size an overly large single image. I still get that RailImages watermark on all my uploads, and I don't see anyone else getting that. Also, the site is lately very slow for me, often I will click on a link or thread, and it will choke and I get an error message. If I go to any other site, it is lightening fast, but not TrainBoard or RailImages. I'm on cable connection, IE (newest v), and XP. FWIW.
I noticed that I couldnt see where to remove it in your setting but I willl chase it up with Charlie.
Hey, I tried again on Tuesday. Hit upload & after some time it went back to the original page. I put them up on the old Railimages without any problems. Long live the OLD Railimages !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The old railimages will be shutdown this week due to the fact it is no longer supported and has been creating server issues. The images will still be available for downloading or transferring to the new site for some time.
I still cannot get an uploaded picture here. Have a crane truck I kit bashed and would love to get it here.
The software developer has been checking this out. They are aware of what causes this problem generally but cannot find an issue here. What we need to happen is for everyone that has the problem to post here when you have it, paste that error message, and report any other details. We will continue to work with them to find a solution. Charlie
