I would order 5 GP50's the moment it gets announced. My earliest memories of being exposed to model railroading is the MR issue with the tiger-stripe BN 5-man cab GP50.

    I would also love to see a good-running SW1.

Although Kato is re-releasing SD40-2's, I'm still waiting to see them available for Norfolk Southern.

Would also love to Atlas do an RS-3 in Central of Georgia. They've done the H15-44 and the GP-7's but no RS-3's????

I'll echo the request for a 3 truck Shay, also a Hiesler, and a Class B or C Climax. And in the rod engine category, the engine that replaced the American Standard 4-4-0 at the head of passenger and freight the Ten Wheeler or 4-6-0. I've got an early Consolidation and two excellent 2-6-0s just waiting for a 4-6-0 to fill the gap. What ever happened to Bmanns proposed unit? And while I'm at it how about somebody producing a nice retrofit part to convert a steamer into a Belpaire version. The heavy Mountain is coming so my light Mountain will end up being the fodder for the one GN loco I've always wanted. And before I forget a nice A-3 Northern. Takes care of the NP folks and us SP&S fellas and probably a few more.

C40-8W is a HUGE gap (the Bachmann offering just doesn't count in my opinion). Needs to be done by Atlas or Kato, preferably Kato if I had my way...

I'll second the SD70ace and CF7 and add an RSD15 in low and high nose versions. We need some decent running small steam like 4-6-0's, I'd like to see Kato try their hand at these, their Japanese prototype 2-8-0, 2-6-0 and 2-6-2's are real gems and show it can be done despite what bachmann tell us.

    For the Modern Modler

SD70Ace - Widely popular, can use exisiting mechs.
Green Goats - Im sure there are people that would use these in thier yards

    For the transition area modler
Alco S-2 - arnold made one, but im not to up on the quality
Baldwin - Center Cab transfer unit not to popular but the EJ&E used them quite a bit, which if any one wants to model chicago land or just wants to have an interchange, the EJ&E Center cabs were very impressive.

    For the Steam-

    Nn3 - K27 or k28 - do i need to say more?
C&O Allengenies - Biggest steamer. (one of - bigger than the big boy)

Rails, as I may return to N (from HO!) I'd like to see some really well done up traction equipment. I do remember a decent Great Northern box-cab and/or a similar Japanese prototype, maybe KATO..can't recall correct classification but they're the 4 truck types with pantographs and long articulated pilots (swiveled under cabs). And I guess you can still find GG1s..But I'd like to see a vast amount of electric equipment and really good trolley stuff..even a slew of 1950s LIRR commuter cars with the port holes on the ends which ran on third rail..Steam does need camel backs, too..

And while you are at it, you need something to pull the empties back to the mine.

For my era I think the GE 70 tonner, Baldwin AS616 and S-12, EMD F9's, SW-1, and some good GE steeplecabs or box motors would all be good.

In general, the CF7, GP15-1, SW1500, U-boats, GP50, Phase 3 GP9's (lowhood), Alco S-series switchers would also make good choices.

    Almost forgot - a good 0-6-0, 4-6-0

    There are a few I hope Kato would make like: U36C, U30CG, F45,FP45/SDP45, SD70Ace & ES44AC.
I would also like Kato to release updated/improved versions of their earlier models of the SD45 and C30-7.
    Cheers,

Sure can't complain about the recent offerings in N... LOTS of wonderful products coming our way.
I'll toss in a vote for a "modern" 4-6-0 though.
