Thanks John. Finished the two 26 degree turn Z Bend modules in time for the Anaheim GTE show this week end. Hooked them together to my yard module to make an "S" curve. Put my quarry end on to test trains through the new modules. By the way, each module is made entirely of MTL sectional track (some pieces cut) with only 2 pieces of 4" flex on each module.
Nice work with the lighting David! The cars with headlights and tail lights really do add action to the scene! I wish I had time off work so I could go to your train show.
Thanks Robert. You can find good stuff from China on Ebay sometimes. The cars with head/tail lights installed and the street lights with SMD led lights are great. Ran a train through the modules - both tracks. Works fine!
I really like the 26 degree bends. Look forward to seeing them tomorrow. They will add even more flexibility to our set ups. Three cheers for David! Lindley
Got some more done on my module. Got some crossings installed: These are from Shapeways. Main crossing here.
I have also been working on the "Vineyard" module. Replaced the cork and track (thanks Jim!), rewired the feeders and put down the ballast today: Added a siding while I was at it. Used some laser cut crossing parts too.
