My first railroad

I live in an apartment, so I chose N-scale and followed the Atlas N-2 track plan. It is a 2 x 4 oval with two spurs and a passing track. I built 4 x 4 benchwork. While I got a lot of the materials several years ago, I really started this last summer. I will continue to add pictures. Sorry for the grainy images, as it is done with a cell phone and poor lighting.

My excuse is that this is my first layout. I have a constant derail point here. I found that I moved the track on part of the oval when securing it which created this derail point. I also made several turnouts inoperable with my gluing techniques or lack of them~Fearing the day when I decide to take up the track and redo it...oy!

Using Atlas DCC, however I found that the N-2 plan was not designed to operate multiple locos.
