Not bad so far. I used to live in a small one bedroom apartment and I could not afford to have a layout (money and space issues). When we purchased our house I knew I wanted a layout and since the attic is a finished attic I put my layout there its also my first layout. I started on it about two years ago when my son was born. Its a constant improvement and additions, small additions. I mostly model modern CSX but I also run U.P., C&O, B&O and Chessie systems on my layout. I hope you get a lot more done on your layout I know I had a lot of fun thru trial and error also.
